Caffes-Steele is more than halfway finished installing windows for the Phase ll - Meridian at Mt. Vernon Triangle project located at 415 L St NW.
Paradigm, the developer of the stylish apartments, awarded Caffes-Steele the current phase after successful installation of Phase l in the spring of 2012.
Phase ll, like the original (390 apartments), will be 14 stories with 3 levels of parking and has 393 apartments.The Meridian Phase l and Meridian Phase ll structures are connected via a rooftop bridge and have lobby accesses from New York Ave as well as L Street.

The University of Richmond has returned to its roots of collegiate gothic architecture with the near completion of their four-story residence halls - South Campus Apartments (below.) Local firm Hourigan Construction awarded the window supply and installation contract to Caffes-Steele and expects completion in time to welcome students to the upcoming 2014 fall semester. The is Caffes-Steele's 5th project at U of R; we have completed installations at Dennis Hall, Freeman Hall, Lakeview Hall, Carole Weinstein International Center (left) and Gray Court Dormitory. Caffes-Steele's John Paul is optimistic about work continuing with the University's future projects.

Addison at Wyndham in Glen Allen, Virginia
Caffes-Steele has completed the installation of almost 1500 windows in Richmond's West End area of Glen Allen, Virginia. The luxurious garden apartments of Addison at Wyndham are one of several Weinstein Properties projects Caffes-Steele has completed in 2014, along with Abbington at Northampton in Hampton, Va and Springfield Apartments in Henrico, Va.
Soldier Systems Center, Natick MA
The US Army Soldier Systems Center is a military research complex and installation located in Natick, Massachusetts. Caffes-Steele was awarded the contract from Pepco Energy to install new and superior windows to reduce energy costs, improve the aesthetics of the compound while also making the windows more operable. Classified as ‘blast resistant’, these particular windows are also far superior in strength, contributing to an added sense of security on the base. Thus far, Caffes-Steele has installed approximately 1,500 windows, including a section of curtainwall on site. A number of facilities have already been completed, and Caffes-Steele anticipates getting more contracts to complete more work on the base in the near future.
DOCK 79 APARTMENTS
One of many luxury apartment buildings that have seemingly sprung out of the ground overnight in D.C.'s revitalized Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, Dock 79 is located right off of the Anacostia River and adjacent to Nationals Park. This 305 unit, 9 story building's window contract was awarded to Caffes-Steele by Paradigm Contractors. The windows selected were manufactured by Peerless Products and are part of the G200 series, an aluminum architectural product that was used in all of the various types of window and door systems present on the structure. All in all, the project has about 900 windows and 750 doors. Window installation for Dock 79 was completed in the summer of 2016.

HOTEL MADISON HARRISONBURG, VIRGINIA
Located in downtown Harrisonburg in the heart of the picturesque Shenandoah Valley, Hotel Madison will be a 230 room boutique hotel and conference center. The project is a collective push to revitalize the downtown area and bring visitors to the Valley. Caffes-Steele was awarded the contract from W.M. Jordan to install 618 windows in the new construction project. The windows selected are manufactured by Quaker windows and doors, and all are part of the H600 series, a historic aluminum architectural product that is being utilized with a receptor and sub-sill system for this particular application. Window installation is slated for completion by the end of August, 2017.

CAFFES-STEELE FINISHES 2ND APARTMENT BUILDING IN 'THE COLLECTIVE'
Installation of windows and doors in the second apartment building in a community known as "The Collective" has been fully finished. Caffes- Steele was awarded the contracts for both Park Chelsea and The Agora by WCS Construction. Both located in SouthEast DC, Park Chelsea is a 13 story, 432 unit apartment building that was completed in 2015, while The Agora is an 11 story, 336 unit apartment building and was completed in Summer 2017. The two structures are adjacent to one another, and The Agora in particular is clearly visible off of I-695. Both projects utilized 6900 series windows, terrace and sliding glass doors. The final building to be constructed will be called The Garrett, which is slated to be finished in the next few years, completing "The Collective".
